Mystic Warrior: Visionary Fiction or
the Way the World Operates?
“The
political, economic and spiritual setting for Mystic Warrior is
not really visionary,” says author Edwin Harkness Spina, “This is the
way the world operates—it’s just that few people actually know it.
…Awareness of this reality is the first step to mastery.”

will be named the winner of the 2005 Independent Publisher Book Award
for Visionary Fiction at the 9th Annual IPPY Awards Celebration June 3rd

“The political, economic and spiritual setting for Mystic Warrior
is not really visionary,” says Spina, “This is the way the world
operates—it’s just that few people actually know it.” Much of the book
draws from Spina’s experience in the venture capital arena and his
personal involvement in mysticism.
The characters in Mystic Warrior possess and wield
extraordinary psychic abilities such as telepathy, remote viewing and
astral projection.
The hero must develop his own psychic skills to compete in a world where
his previous beliefs about time, space and human limitations no longer
apply.
Mystic Warrior is a contemporary spiritual thriller that
provides meaning, insight and hope for a humanity struggling to find
spiritual solutions to today’s problems.
Since time immemorial, there have been stories, legends and rumors of
secret societies that help initiates to develop mystical and
supernatural skills. Dan Brown, author of the current N.Y. Times
best-seller, The DaVinci Code, references one group, the
Illuminati, as “one of the most powerful unseen forces in global
politics.” According to Spina, “the characters in Mystic Warrior
practice the same mystical skills taught in these secret societies.
Awareness of this reality is the first step to mastery.”
Spina has earned an MBA from the University of Chicago, a BSE from Tufts
University and has been studying and practicing mysticism for many
years.
